Training Modules

We offer on-site and virtual training sessions. Our training modules can be adapted to audience

needs and are designed to use hands on approaches that build the necessary skills to be an

effective evidence-based practitioner. Our training modules include:

• Efficient Searching for Relevant and Valid Evidence.

• Clinical Research Design: Uses, Strengths, and Weakness

• Assessing the Quality of Primary Clinical Research Papers

• Understanding Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis

• Understanding Clinical Practice Guidelines

• Assessing the Quality of Systematic Reviews and Guidelines

• Designing and Implementing a Guideline-based Clinical Practice

• Understanding Studies about Diagnostic Procedures

• Developing an Evidence-based Dentistry Curriculum

Modules range from 60-90 minutes and can be supplemented with individual or small group skill development exercises.

On-site training programs are typically 1-3 days based on audience interests and needs.

On-line training can be customized to audience needs and scheduled as needed.
